Brief Biography

I’ve programmed many computers & the CodeBug is the neatest & smallest! My CodeBug will be programmed to be a countdown timer for games & to indicate when the tea in the pot is brewed. I will also connect it to a Raspberry Pi to act as a controller & station indicator for internet radio stations. I learned programming/coding in school in the 1970's on a computer about the size of an XBox. You input programs and data by flicking six switches and checked the programs & results by reading six display lights. For a parents' evening we programmed it to take a date of birth as input & output the day of the week that you were born. My mum was amazed that the computer was right for the days that all her four sons were born! My challenge for you is to code the CodeBug to do something similar. You input a date of birth via its legs. Your code outputs the day that you were born on via its display, without a Raspberry Pi! You may beat me to it, as I'll have work out how to do it as well.
